About Welding & Fabrication

Mr. Alan Clifton has successfully ran this program at Southmont for seven years and has a vision to build his program up to one of the best programs and facilities in the state. Mr. Clifton is even looking to continually improve this program by getting a Fanuc teaching robot to be able to certify high school students as industrial controllers. Mr. Clifton is proud to say that this program is geared towards providing a learning environment for everyone looking into going into any future manufacturing careers. From engineers to future factory workers, this program will continually provide problems to work through and new experiences.
